ROCK THE VOTE
So using suggestions from friends, family, and some of you who posted comments on this very blog, we had another crack at the holiday photo thing. Julie and I decided that nobody really wanted to see a picture of us, so we just went with baby pics. We snapped a bunch of pictures, and we've narrowed it down to two. Now we need your help, Internet. Let us know which one you think is best.
First up, a little number in which Will looks like a turtle, and Nate just looks surprised...
Our second offering is a more moody affair. A study in blue...
You can look at this one horizontally, but we decided we like the vertical view better.
So let us know which one we should send out with the Christmas cards. Pop a note in the comment's section. If you do, we just might send one to you.

I think the second one is adorable!
hmmm tough decision.
I like the second better (composition wise), but it's a little darker. If you're sending to relatives/friends then they may prefer to see the kids' faces more.

Go w/ the second, and maybe lighten it up a bit in Photoshop.
I'd go with the second one for a more traditional Christmas card but to be honest seeing the boys look surprised always makes me chuckle. They're so gorgeous you could use any of their shots and people would love to get them.

When printed the vertical picture doesn't look as dark.
Judging by web democracy, it would seem the lower photo is the winner

The first would be great if you could photoshop in a "Christmas" background. Otherwise I'll join the herd on voting for two...
For that one, I think the shadows help make the picture, though making it a touch lighter wouldn't hurt. You might also want to reconsider making it horizontal... I'm thinking mostly of how it'd ultimately look on a card.
We love both - but Marc wants to write you and Julie in on the ballot as well (it's never easy with him.)

I vote for the 2nd...they look adorable and cute in that one. The first one looks very intellectual, though...
