The Faroe Islands has donated $180,000 (USD) to a World Food Program effort to feed the people of Afghanistan. On a per capita basis, that's almost 10 times more generous than the amount the United States has given to the program

And in that photo, the place looks very lovely and windswept. Really, they need to put you on the payroll.
Honestly? Reminds me of that remote Oregon coast pictured in the previous post. Only instead of you, Julie and the twins, they have sheep. And of course there is that cliff to contend with, but I believe Oregon has those in selected spots as well.
Still, it looks lovely. And if you wind up getting an invitation to visit from the Faroe tourism board, sans airfare, I am sooo finding a random remote island and plugging it on my blog.
Per. request, i'm saying hello, and i think it's very cool that someone from outside my country is interested in it. It's a very beautiful place to live in.
