BREAKING NEWS BLUES
I've been up late two nights in a row covering breaking news, so the plans of writing here have been somewhat dashed. So I'm going to sleep with the promise of something worthwhile soon. Until then, enjoy this thing...

Remember when we went to see MST3K at the Tower Theatre and you went into ... what do you call it ... lock down?? You know, where you laugh so hard you double over and fall off your chair... Well, when I think of you watching Flight of the Conchord, I imagine you are doing that same thing. I love that you love this show!
I'm cryin' from laughin'. The thing is, you have to have watched this show to appreciate this clip. Of all the things there are to love about this scene, two of my favorites might go by unnoticed. First, she says she really wants an Australian. She could not have dug the knife in any deeper right there. Then, as Jermaine walks away, she watches him in confusion and exasperation. HBO freaking rocks.
I still laugh out loud sometimes thinking about the final frames of the season from "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
I've never seen this show (I don't have HBO), but I've seen one or two other music videos from it... makes me think maybe I should start paying for cable. The rabbit ears just aren't cutting it.
